Gotham

What is it about our comics that we are constantly drawn back to them?

Is it the nostalgia, it brings us back to a time when life was simple, when we had minimal responsibilities as children?

When the world around was new filled with nothing but possibilities and thrill?

Or is it the substance found within the comics? The constant battle between Good & Evil, the discovery of the self, the sacrifice of the self, the utilitarian approach to living, living for the safety and protection of the city. The opposition faced by the system and much more.

The many values, choices and decisions that the character makes intrigues us because we are certainly able to find parallels within our own lives.

These comics play a large part in our lives because to a certain extent it is our lives we face a constant battle of good vs. evil in each of the choices we make.

This Vinyl Batman Clock from GeoArtCrafts seems like a talking piece in any modern home.

Bruce Wayne: It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.
